This wine shows an intense color of black-inflected purple. It is primary on the nose, with grapy top notes followed by blueberry compote and underbrush. The palate shows no new oak and is a touch succulent. It benefits from lightly grippy tannins with medium-plus, integrated acidity. The medium finish and youthful qualities of this wine suggest it will drink and develop well through 2018.
