This wine is an immensely dark color with ruby hues and very ripe aromas of blackberries, black plums and tar. Though the nose is primary, the palate shows secondary flavors of cigar wrapper, worn leather and autumn leaves. Though moving past its primary stages, this wine shows an intriguing display of flavors and textures. The palate possesses lightly drying tannins and good acidity, making this an excellent table wine. Drinking now through 2016, although it may hold interest longer.
