Ripe black plum and black fruit show on the nose. The palate evolves to beef broth, potting soil and sandalwood while the fruit turns more tart, with surprisingly fresh acidity. Tannins are a little gritty and almost interrupt the granite, mineral finish. This wine tells a story but parts lack elements of cohesion. Hold and drink 2029 through 2034.
