This ripe, Hunter Valley Shiraz has persistence and depth. The red-fruit-forward wine has a nose of raspberry, tobacco leaf, black cherry and hints of vanilla baking spice. There is chalkiness on the midpalate with the wine completing with a long, tart-cherry finish. A Shiraz for those who enjoy a lighter, medium-bodied expression of the grape.
