Moderate yellow in color, this wine has a musky nose. The palate shows a lightly pleasant funkiness, too. Abundant flavors of yellow plum and cherry have a savory white-pepper lift. Moderate in body with a light lacing of glycerol, the wine has a touch of tannic grip that works in tandem with the solid acidity to keep the palate on keel. Rather quick to finish, this wine is for early drinking. The structure—especially the low alcohol—feels like Sémillon.
