This is a zinger with its fascinating combination of aged meats, dried and leafy herbs, savory spice and red fruits. Mulberries, cherries and pomegranates ooze onto the robust palate with overt alcohol. This is gutsy in concentration and muscular in palate feel. Balanced by lifting acidity and sculpted tannins, the moderate finish feels lightly taut. This is ready to drink but should hold nicely for several more years. Drink now–2024.
