Extravagantly perfumed, this beetle shell black-colored wine smells of cola, vanilla bean, fig compote and dates. The palate is as dazzling as the aromas. It is voluptuous at the core and nicely framed by a wall of finely-grained tannins. The fresh acidity is seamlessly integrated and nicely complements the fruit-packed, prolonged finish with a mouthwatering quality. The exuberant and sprightly flavors include ganache, anise, gunpowder, musk and lots of blackberries and sloe. This will be a crowd pleaser. Drink now–2028.
