Pleasantly fruit driven with bramble and currant on the nose, this succulent wine works in a pinch. The papery, bitter tannins are grippy, and the alcohol is distracting. The perky acidity on the finish is surprising but at least it is refreshing. All this is coupled with merely average fruit concentration and a fast finish. Drink now–2022.
