Though very pale in its rose color, this elegant wine has plentiful personality. The aromas lead with cherry and sweet spice then expand into earthy tones and wild flowers on the mouthfilling palate. The gentle, caressing tannins and voluminous acidity nicely hide the alcoholic warmth until the last, discreet nip on the finish. Gregarious, juicy and moreish, this superyouthful wine works well as a sipper on its own as well as a red for lighter dishes, including seafood. Drink now–2023.
