This wine offers an expansive and expressive nose packed with bramble, blueberry and mulberry sprinkled with baking spices. Then, a pulsating minerality starts its show. The fleshy, velvety texture is so dominant on the palate that it is easy not to notice the well-measured, lifting acidity. Following into the lingering finish, the granular tannins lightly pinch the palate to polish the wine on the back end. Still, the penetrating, pure and ripe fruit flavors linger, as does a hint of alcoholic warmth. Drink now–2024.
