An appealing nose of peeling dried tree bark and blueberry jam carries this wine. Though big-boned in feel, there is no shortage of perky acidity that, while refreshing, seems slightly out-of-place. The tannins are seamless and lightly drying. A pleasantly lingering finish makes for a highly sippable wine that is ready to be served. Drink now–2022.
