This wine is highly concentrated in aromas of blackberry and black currant. There is a burst of power on the palate through the hulking weight, as well as its gravelly tannins and relaxed acidity. The lingering mineral-laced finish is dappled with camphor and licorice. While drinking well now, there’s enough grippy structure and flavor nuance to allow this wine to age. Drink now–2024.
