This is a magnanimous wine on the nose, replete with sweet and savory spices as well as evolved notes of old cedar box. This is well-evolved on the palate as well, with worn leather and dried mulberry flavors. The turbo-charged palate is expansively dense and layered in flavor, but the bright acidity provides good structure. The slippery, fading finish coupled with the plentiful autumnal flavors suggests this is ready to enjoy without little delay. Drink now–2020.
