This robust wine is strong in weight and alcohol. The modest acidity coupled with lenient tannins makes it soft and succulent. Pretty flavors of blackberry coulis and red cherry preserves figure prominently on the palate. While its structure is approachable, the modest finish is lacking for a wine this decisively intense.
