Dark, brooding and a reductive on the nose, this wine needs time to in the glass to open. It’s teeming with complex layers of black currant, prune, truffle and pencil s. Grainy tannins and zesty acidity artfully frame the engagingly dense palate. The finish feels a bit foursquare thanks to the powerful structure, but this persistently flavorful wine will nicely compliment hearty fare. Drink now–2023.
