Midnight black at the core, this youthful wine is pristine clean and mineral in aromatics. Tied into its moderately aromatic nose are notes of grilled game, blackberry, fireplace smoke and musk. Though foursquare on the palate, it shows solid craftsmanship—the meaty, full body is nicely encased with grippy and slightly coarse tannins as well as balanced acidity. Drinking well now, it has time to go and should become even more savory with further aging in bottle enjoy through 2023.
