The nose of this wine is fruit-driven, open and forward, while the palate is a bit simple, but easy thanks to its fairly round tannins and zippy but integrated acidity. The whole package is loaded with black plum preserves, toasted oak spices and hints of sweet plums. Easy to drink, medium-plus in body and smartly structured with refreshing acidity, this is a great wine for casual settings. Drink now through 2017.
