Dark pink in color with a wide watery rim, this rosé smells of strawberry shortcake and cotton candy. The moderate palate concentration disappoints as it leads to watery tones on the very short finish that seems incongruous with its considerable depth of color. The palate is easygoing, perhaps with threshold level residual sugar or simply somewhat lenient acidity. Drink now through mid-2017.
