Medium-deep ruby in color, with black inflections at the core, the exuberant and youthful nose of this wine shows aromas of scrub brush and wild berries. The palate is medium-bodied, with a nice juiciness that significantly contributes to its drinkability. The integrated acidity is vivacious, but the shard-like tannins are far less attractive. The modest finish of this streamlined wine shows no hint of oak. Overall, it’s quite drinkable, and best enjoyed through 2016.
