This wine shows a darkly murky core, with a magenta-influenced rim. The nose is exotically spiced, with blackberry aromas accompanied by baking spices, violet and tinges of maple syrup. The palate is accommodatingly round, and it is the buoyant acidity that keeps the flavors lingering into the medium-length finish. Savory, suave, nuanced and sexy, this is less abrupt and upfront than many others from the region. Definitely a wine to follow enjoy through 2019.
