This wine has a pale lemon-pulp color and a fruit-restrained nose. Its other aromas, including straw, blanched almond, glue and honeysuckle, are quite forward. On the palate, yellow plums and yellow raisins come to the fore. The whole mix carries through to the medium-plus finish, with a savory and saline character. Dense and ripe but neither plump nor weighty, despite the very moderate acidity, this wine is fresh and lively. Drink now through 2017.
