This gleaming, yellow wine is moderately perfumed. Impressively pure, it smells of yellow plum, golden raisin, white peach and Poire William. Underneath the youthful fruit lies notes of animal fur and savory spice. The attack is fairly sweet, but the finish feels quite dry thanks to the sturdy acidity. The flavor density is medium and the finish is modest. Nonetheless, this style should be a crowd pleaser. Drink now through 2016.
