This slender, low-alcohol red blend is built on black fruit, with a curious suggestion of stone fruit. Deep-intensity purple in color, the wine has a pronounced nose of black plum, blueberry puree, apricot, black raspberry, blackberry, dried mushroom and forest floor. The soft, ripe tannin in the light-bodied wine undergirds the fruit, with hints of chocolate and white pepper. The wine is a blend of 50% Négrette, 25% Syrah and 25% Fer Servadou. Drink now or age four to seven years.
