This is a generously ripe red that’s packed with a dried black-fruit aroma. The palate is full in feel, with densely concentrated flavors that are supported by racing acidity. The pithy tannins give it just enough refreshment to make this a good bottling for the table. It’s already showing evolved notes of dried leather, old cigar box and barbecue spice, so this is ready to drink now–2021.
