This red smells generous and pleasant. Boisterous in its ripeness, it is nicely accentuated by cheek-piercing acidity and vaguely sand-papery tannins. Everything here is in primo balance. Vivaciously fresh, pure and spirited, it is ready to pour, but this should age well in the medium-term if not longer. Drink now–2021.
