Fairly pale in red cherry color at the core, this wine has a light, strawberry-colored rim. The attack has a lovely juxtaposition of sweet red fruits and savory, brothy tones. Medium bodied, it showcases elegant sweet spice, light earthiness and cranberry compote. The palate is vibrant in acidity, a faint touch viscous and kindly gentle in tannins. This is drinking beautifully now and should continue to hold well through 2019.
