This wine has a profound yellow color, with a fairly large, water white rim. Though only a year old, the flavors show fatigue. Still, there’s ample Trebbiano typicity here, with bales of hay, fresh cut apple and pinches of sweet spice. Exotic papaya notes come out on the moderate finish, giving this wine some final pizzazz. Sensuously smooth, with ample fruit, this could be a good by-the-glass pour. Drink through mid-2016, and don’t be afraid to turn on the chill.
