Cabernet Sauvignon (Great Southern)

Jet black and opaque in appearance, this wine has a surprisingly open and dynamic aromatic profile of distinct mocha latte given the intense, brooding color. On the palate, its blackberry and black plum skin flavors are firmly concentrated, and with air, fresh pencil ss surface. There is a distinct bitterness to the acidity that is challenging, especially without food. The tannins are broad and chunky yet nicely fluid. This finishes very quickly and overall is a bit discombobulated. Drink now–2024.
