Sauvignon Blanc (Menetou-Salon)

Pale yellow in color, this wine’s smell is vaguely reminiscent of Lemon Pledge and Pine Sol in a positive way. Pine nuts, hay, guava and aloe create a diverse and spirited palate. Medium minus in body with brisk acidity, the wine feels lean and spritely. The finish is pleasantly medium in length, and while the concentration is good, the wine doesn’t seem to have the stuffing to evolve much to benefit. Drink 2013–early 2015.
