The deep straw color core showcases small, steadiliy streaming bubbles. The wine is firm and resolutely dry from attack to finish. Red cherries, red currants and lingonberries are accented by toasted bread crumbs and almonds. Hints of chalk and bamboo surface as the wine warms. The medium body is tightly wound by zesty, chiseled acidity. The moderate length shows a lovely toastiness. Should continue to evolve to 2016 but is lovely as is.
