This wine is a deep Bordeaux color with brick strains throughout. Intensely savory on the nose with cinnamon inflections. Roasted meat, evergreen branch and mulberry aromas lead to evolved notes of autumn leaves and saddle leather. Delightfully sweet and savory, reminiscent of an old Rioja Riserva. Moderate viscosity, supporting acidity and modest length. Ambitiously priced for what it offers, but a very good drink to be consumed over the next two years.
