Amaral 2012 Cool Climate

Sauvignon Blanc (Leyda Valley)

Pale straw in color, this is bright and aromatic with excellent purity and aromatic charisma. Baby’s breath and spring flowers combine with banana and mango. Curiously, despite these tropical flavors and very modest acidity, the wine is quite light. There is a breezy saltiness to the wine, too. The finish lingers through to medium. A lovely package to be enjoyed in its youth; drink now to early 2014.
