This wine’s electric yellow color is visually enticing, if unusual. Its nose shows petrol tones alongside cantaloupe and Key lime. There’s a come-hither juiciness and almost oiliness to the palate that turns around and delivers a pithy, fervently dry palate in the end. The medium finish moves into lanolin and Manchego cheese rind notes. Given the lingering finish and solid structure, this wine should develop well in bottle. Drink now–2021.
