A deep crimson color with brick nuances. The nose is rather volatile with Port-like aromas of overripe fruit and sweet spice. Warm alcohol, flabby acidity and very light tannins require this wine to be consumed early, now to mid-2014. The modest finish suggests there is some underlying good fruit that was pushed just a bit too far in ripeness.
