C&D Deneufbourg 2010
Marselan (Vin de Pays des Côtes Catalanes)
Deep black color with a tiny, black raspberry rim. The exuberant and youthful nose shows tar, creosote, blackberry preserves and fresh rosemary. Juicy palate shows a hint of glycerol, high but balanced alcohol, supporting acidity, restrained tannins and a modest finish. No evident oak aromas and a lovely fruit freshness make this a pleasant wine. However, it’s a particularly complex wine. Still, it’s a sure crowd pleasure for Old and New World wine lovers.
