Cabernet Sauvignon (Wrattonbully)

This dark red with an orange hue has a reticent bouquet. Its palate is fruit-driven in flavors of pomegranate, blueberry and mulberry. There’s a nicely balanced structure to frame the full and voluptuous body, even if the tannins feel a bit stringy. The lingering finish tastes of dry-aged meat and savory, dried spices. Nicely evolved, this is ready to drink but should have a few years left in bottle. Drink now–2021.
