La Fleur de François 2011 Sélection
Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon (Bordeaux)
This wine’s impressive black core is surrounded by a very small magenta rim. The nose is packed with fresh forest berries and kissed with cracked twigs and damp earth. The tannins are sandy and drying, and the acidity is pronounced and perky. This wine has discipline and typicity along with a moderate finish with no signs of new oak. Great for a by the glass pour at casual restaurants. Drink 2013–2016.
