Nearly opaque, the purple-hued core is surrounded by a neon fuchsia rim. The lifted nose evokes old candy stores and its shelves lined with strawberry-vanilla cream candies and toffee delights. Bramble and blueberry hit the palate first cherry cobbler in a thick crust topped with vanilla bean ice cream follows. Slightly candied with a hint of residual sugar on the attack, there is heavy-handed winemaking here, though it does turn out fairly well for a sweeter, entry-level style. Short finish.
