Deep blackberry colored at the core, this wine brightens to a pronounced mulberry hue at the rim. Though reticent on the nose, candied blueberry, lilac and mineral notes surface within ten minutes. The body is full and the texture is soft, but the wine doesn’t weigh down the palate. There is just enough bright acidity to keep all the elements in check, despite the softness of the sculpted tannins. Drink now through 2017.
