Highly saturated core of deep plum color with black inflections. Supremely mineral nose with gravel, blackberry and blueberry highlights. A profound earthiness is the most marked character on the palate. Dark forest fruits fill in. Slightly green though round tannins are a predominant feature on the palate. The acidity is moderate and the finish is fairly short. The alcohol sticks out on the finish. Drink now to 2013.
