Dehesa de Luna 2015 Luna Lunera
Tempranillo (Vino de la Tierra de Castilla)
|
This wine has a youthful, fresh and forward nose of ripe berries and hard-stemmed herbs. Sloe and black plum preserves dance across the nose then lead onto the palate, where they are joined by anise, graphite, forest floor, barbecue spice and cardamom. Full bodied with generous yet well-handled alcohol, there’s plenty of bustling acidity and pillowy tannins to frame this wine. There is no obvious new oak. Highly drinkable, I suspect most drinkers will get to the bottom of the bottle faster than they expect.
Drink now through 2019.
