Deep yellow in color with almost extravagant quantities of fizz, this lightly yeasty wine is full of hazelnut, almond, yellow plum and yellow-apple flavors. Light bodied with modest residual sugar, this wine is beautifully balanced. It shows the yeastiness typical of grandes marques Champagnes and the forward fruit expected from grower Champagne. Drink 2013–2015 for optimal freshness but this wine has the structure and concentration to age to benefit, 2012–2016.
