The wine’s appearance is deep ruby, with secondary hues of magenta, and moderately staining the glass. Raisin, jammy blackberry, raspberry and dried violet prevail on the nose. The fruit on the palate does not mirror the nose, showing much brighter and more vibrant in the mouth. The dried violet turns candied and juicy, as well. The finish deflates a bit, but this is a perfect wine for the office gathering . Enjoy now.
