Bonifacio 2008 

Nebbiolo (Barbaresco)

A deep crimson color with mahogany streaking in the glass. The overt and well-advanced—for its age—nose shows appealing ripe, if no longer primary, fruit. That fruit is lightly baked but still very appealing, offering notes of roasted red plum, dried red currant and baked wild berries. Pleasantly drying tannins coupled with fresh acidity make this a table-worthy bottle. Drink now–2015, though the wine may continue to hold beyond then.
