Cabernet Sauvignon (Mendoza)

This Cabernet boasts a deep maroon color with black streaking in the core and a bright, rhubarb-colored rim. The fragrant, youthful nose is crammed with an oddly delightful array of flavors: pomegranate, black fig, tomato leaf and black olives. This is a serious but very drinkable Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s medium bodied with very gentle extraction and limited glycerol. The tannins are suave and lightly structuring, and the acidity is mouthwatering. The only disappointment here is the fairly short finish. This should be a great value. Drink now to 2014, though it may hold longer.
