Tomich Hill 2019
Pinot Noir (Adelaide Hills)
Pale cherry in color, with a touch of brown running through it, this smells of baking spice, fallen autumn leaves and dried red plums. The broad but rather medium-bodied palate is sleek and nicely defined by wispy tannins and moderate acidity. The medium finish tastes of tea leaves and spices, with a slightly drying end. While still very pleasant, this bottling is definitely developing tertiary notes and is ready to enjoy. Drink now–2023.
