Deep purple in color, with blue undertones, this wine has a dense nose of rich forest berries, baked black cherries, muddling spices, licorice and potpourri. The medium-plus body is curvy, sexy, sultry and a touch flashy. Smartly balanced by fine tannins and integrated, lifting acidity, this wine doesn’t skimp on its lingering finish. This should cellar well through 2022.
