Pronounced yellow in color, this wine seems to have a faint haze. The perlage is fine and delicate. The nose is reticent, but the palate is more giving. Ale-like, with notes of brown sugar, toast and brioche, the wine speaks more to non-fruit flavors. Nevertheless, there are some sweet yellow apples lying below the surface once the wine warms. The medium finish shows this wine has good stuffing. Drink now through 2016.
