Unforgivingly opaque at the core, this wine is equally brooding on its densely concentrated nose. Vanilla bean, Christmas spice, potpourri and incense breech the glass rim before the deeply ripe black fruits. The succulent core is held together between the lightly gangly tannins and invigorating acidity. Though full bodied and lightly viscous, this wine’s structure isn’t allowing for any baby fat. Though drinking well now, this wine has the wherewithal to go on a bit longer enjoy through 2018.
