This wine’s black core leads to a brick-hued meniscus. The bouquet is also showing some fine lines of development. Light and pleasantly volatile, it smells decadently of fig paste, quince jam and grilled pecans. A touch corpulent, the palate is full and broad. The tannins are slightly chewy, and the acidity supports the wine without being obvious. The finish is balanced and long. This is a fine wine for a nice dinner enjoy through 2019.
